The Saginaw steering box was found to be tired and worn, it was time to address the sloppy steering. Flaming River has a kit which combines all new internals, including bushings, so with rebuild kit in-hand, all I had to do was remove the box from the Corvette and get to work.

- Just a good pump and proper steering geometry goes a long way. In my opinion it is a waste of time for 35's. I wouldn't even run it with my 38's but the main reason I have it is just for the fear of a failed shaft on a steering box. The ram will just keep a little less stress on the steering box. That would be the only reason I would run it.
